Who is YOGALAOV?

Welcome to my story

Bonjour, Hallo, Hello,

I’m Lieselotte, a 33-year-old yoga teacher and wellness coach. In April 2023, my husband Alain-Michel, our son Olivier (born in 2023), and I moved to the beautiful Dordogne region of France. After living in the south of the Netherlands (Breda), we were ready for a change—looking for a quieter, more natural way of life. Now, we live in the middle of the forest, where we focus on simplicity and sustainability.

In today’s busy world, it’s so easy to lose touch with yourself. That’s why I believe in finding balance through practical tools and a little mindfulness. My approach is grounded, straightforward, and aimed at helping people reconnect with what’s really important.

My Personal Journey
As a young adult, I struggled with an eating disorder. I found it hard to express myself and felt weighed down by responsibilities. For years, I kept my emotions bottled up, which only made things harder.

Through therapy, open conversations with my family, and a lot of self-reflection, I slowly found my way to recovery. Yoga and Pilates became a big part of my journey, helping me quiet my mind and find balance. Now, after 10 years free from my eating disorder, I feel stronger, more confident, and much more in tune with myself.

My Background in Wellness and Healthcare
Before focusing fully on yoga and wellness, I worked in healthcare, supporting young people dealing with addiction, family issues, and life challenges. I also worked closely with parents, helping them navigate modern challenges like social media, gaming, and substance use. These experiences taught me a lot about resilience and the importance of creating balance in life.

I’m a certified yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training from the Yoga Center in Tilburg, as well as a certified Yin Yoga and Pilates instructor. I’m also trained as an NLP practitioner and master at Mind Academy. Whether through yoga classes, Pilates, or Thai yoga massage, I enjoy helping others reconnect with themselves and find their own sense of calm and strength.

Yoga Retreats in Dordogne
One of my dreams is to host yoga retreats here in the Dordogne. These retreats are an opportunity to step back from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with yourself and nature. With Hatha Yoga in the morning and Yin Yoga in the evening, the focus is on mindfulness, clarity, and relaxation.

If this sounds like something for you, feel free to reach out! Whether it’s for a retreat, a private yoga lesson, or a Thai yoga massage, I’d love to help you on your journey to balance and well-being.

Namaste,
Lieselotte (or Lise, as the French say)
